Katie & Daniel – Rocklin Event Center Wedding
Daniel and Katie decided to get married at the Rocklin Event Center in Northern, California. It was the perfect setting for a romantic garden wedding filled with grace, elegance, and love! Between the soft blush and white color palette and the tender care that went into every detail, everything was perfect and fitting for this couple of style bloggers.
Daniel, channeling Jay Gatsby, wore a dapper blush colored suit and a floral tie to match the theme. Katie looked like a princess in her sweetheart wedding gown with intricate lace detailing, a long flowing veil, and a lush bouquet featuring her favorite flower, white peonies. They said I do in front of their closest friends and family in an intimate ceremony. They wrote their own vows and promised to take care of each other when they were sick and to watch every episode of Sponge Bob together. Emotions were high as they walked down the aisle after becoming man and wife and everyone cheered them on with bubbles.
Daniel and Katie met through mutual friends one day at the lake and started dating soon after. They knew quickly that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. A year and a half ago, during Christmastime at Disneyland, Daniel proposed to Katie during the fireworks show. She was completely caught off guard but happily said YES! I can only imagine her excitement walking through the park knowing that she just made the best decision of her life!
The reception was catered by Lucille’s complete with mac n’ cheese, biscuits and apple butter. They opted for cupcakes from Icing On The Cupcake instead of a cake and had other assorted desserts to go with them like madeleines and macrons. There was a candy bar for their guests to create their own little goodie bags of treats as the wedding favor including both of their favorite candies as well as homemade caramels by the mother of the bride. It was a sweet set up indeed 😉 After dinner and toasts, they danced their first dance to Perfect by Ed Sheeran and then the rest of night away to their favorite songs next to their favorite people.
There was so much joy and happiness present on Daniel and Katie’s wedding day. Everyone was having such a wonderful time and you could tell how much Daniel and Katie were loved by all the kind words, hugs, and support they both received. At the end of the night, when I asked Katie what her favorite part of the day was, she said “becoming Daniel’s wife!”
Katie and Daniel, it was a pleasure to capture your best day ever! Thank you for having Eli and I be a part of your wedding day! It was truly a special day that will not be soon forgotten. You both have such a wonderful future ahead of you and we are blessed to call you friends.
