Brian & Becca – McKinley Park Engagement Session

Being in Hawaii on your birthday, what more could a girl ask for?! Becca had no idea what was about to come when Brian lead her down the stairs of a family home on a cliff overlooking the ocean.  He got down on one knee, with his family watching and his dad taking pictures, and asked her to marry him. She cried as her heart said yes, while her voice needed a minute to catch up.

They have been together for 4 years and met at a park in their home town, Auburn, CA, through mutual friends.  I thought that it was so sweet that they wanted to have their engagement session to be in a park as well.  Even though it wasn’t the same park, McKinley Park in Sacramento, CA, made a beautiful background!

We started off in McKiney Park’s famous Rose Garden and I was surprised by the gorgeous blooms!  The helped set the stage for romantic engagement photos!

They dressed to match in plaid and white for the perfect fall day.  Rain was in the forecast for the following day and we prayed that the rain would actually wait. Of course it did and we were able to take some beautiful fall photos that oozed with love and Brian and Becca looked amazing!

Brian did a wonderful job choosing the perfect ring for his fiancé. It is a gorgeous rose gold ring with a round diamond encircled by smaller ones.  It is beautiful, elegant and unique; just like her!

They are enjoying each other and being engaged and are waiting until they finish school to get married.  He is studying business and she is studying to be a nurse at Sierra College in Rocklin, CA.

Becca, you are seriously so gorgeous. I just can’t even…

Brian and Becca, it was such an honor to capture your engagement photos for you!  Here’s to wedding planning and to a wonderful future together!
