It was a beautiful May afternoon with big fluffy white clouds in the sky and a light breeze when we met up in Folsom, CA for Rachael’s senior portrait session. I love photographing seniors because they are at such a unique stage in life. That transition from high school and the rest of your life when possibilities are endless!! There is always expectancy in their eyes and it’s so fun to hear about their plans for the future.
This session was special to me for a few reasons. The first reason was because I first met Rachael when she was a little girl as she is cousins with my high school best friend. The other reason is because she is graduating from Placer High School, my Alma mater! Even though I wasn’t terribly into school spirit, it’s like instant camaraderie 🙂
Rachael, you have grown into such a beautiful young lady and it was truly a pleasure to take your senior portraits! Wishing you all the best as you go off to college in Santa Barbara!!!
