Nikol & Aaron – UC Davis Arboretum Engagement Session
They say when you know, you know! One weekend, Nikol was at a bar and saw Aaron from across the room. She had never seen him before, but she pointed at him and you could say the rest was history! They have been together for almost 5 years and will be getting married this summer! We shot their engagement session at the beautiful UC Davis Arboretum on a beautiful day last Fall and I just loved capturing the two of them!
I love seeing people who are very much in love and best friends at the same time! There is a sense of comfortability & vulnerability that comes from knowing someone for so long and I really believe that is such a wonderful foundation for marriage. Nikol and Aaron bring out the best in each other and the way they make each other laugh and smile is truly something special! They brought their fur baby, Kona, with them to their session to help celebrate their engagement which adds such a personal touch to their photos! Nikol and Aaron love spending time together and with their families, traveling, and hanging out with Kona.
During their session we talked about their wedding this summer that will take place at The Forest House Lodge and I loved that they really wanted a venue that was big enough for their families and even had accommodations for them as well. A wedding day is more than just two people coming together as husband and wife, but also two families coming together, so I love seeing couples who value their guests and want to honor them on their special day!
