Claudia & Edgar – French Camp, California Wedding

Claudia and Edgar’s wedding day was nothing short of beautiful, joyful, and celebratory! Surrounded by family and friends who loved and cared for them at a beautiful private venue in French Camp, they pledged forever together!  Claudia was such a beautiful, joyful bride and Edgar was a very dapper groom in a dusty blue suit.

Claudia and Edgar meet at Sacramento State University. They had been together for a few years and had a beautiful little boy together. Needless to say, there was a lot of anticipation for their marriage! I loved talking with them during their engagement session. They loved cross-fit, spending time with their son, and how excited they were to celebrate their marriage with those closest to them!

Their intimate ceremony took place at a private residence in French Camp.  Claudia walked down the aisle, escorted by her father and son.  A cellist played as she walked towards her groom and Edgar teared up as he saw his bride!

After the ceremony, their guests enjoyed a Tiki themed cocktail hour while we took their family portraits.  Then it was time for the reception!

The reception was filled with beautiful flowers, gold accents, and French blue accents (my favorite!).  Claudia and Edgar also filled their reception with family traditions, dancing, and good food!

Right before sunset, we snuck away from the party for some portraits of just the two of them!  And as a result, that was one of my favorite parts of their wedding day!  The beautiful light, the space for my couples to just stare into each others eyes, and creating some of the first portraits of them as husband and wife!

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the reception carried on into the night with more laughing, dancing, cake, and one final surprise from the groom, bacon wrapped hot dogs.

It was such a beautiful wedding and by the end of the day, my cheeks hurt because I was smiling so much behind the camera!

Claudia & Edgar, I am so excited for you both as you start this next chapter in your lives as husband and wife!  Above all, I’m wishing you a lifetime of happiness and blessing as you journey into the legacy of marriage!
