About this blog

Today I thought it would be the perfect time to share a little more about myself, this blog and my dreams.

I am a fun loving, doll collecting, cookie baking, piano playing, listing making, Disney obsessed, wife and homemaker.  I wear many different hats for my business and personal life.  I always have more to do than time to do it in. I tend to have my head in the clouds more often than not. I aspire to be a full time photographer and a mother.

I started blogging when I was in college because I loved writing.  Then I was introduced to Ms Carrie Bradshaw and was sure I could have my own column!  Over the years, time was a rare commodity and my writing was tossed aside.  I missed it very much and that is part of the reason I was so very excited to incorporate this blog into my business and website!

This blog was created for my clients and my prospective clients with the purpose of sharing my work and more about who I am as a photographer.  I want to build personal connections with people through my writing and work to create a sense of trust.  Having your photograph taken can be a very intimate experience and I want my clients to feel safe in front of my camera.

Towards the end of August, I decided to have a set time and day of the week when I would release new content on my blog and have committed to a weekly post every Saturday evening.  I am proud to say that I have had a post up every week for the past 7 weeks!  I look forward to being able to expand that to more, but I feel so good about being consistent and I know that it will pay off.

I want people to walk away from my blog feeling that love, family and the little moments in life are precious and that being able to capture a feeling or fleeting moment truly is a gift.  I want to inspire people to create beautiful memories that will stand the test of time, not only for themselves, but also for the generations to come.
