It’s that time of year again. The stores are filling up with hearts and red and pink decorations. The season of love is upon us! And although there has always been controversy when it comes to Valentine’s Day as far as the people who think we shouldn’t wait until this one day to celebrate our love for each other, I actually really enjoy it! Not because of how my husband treats me on that day or because I believe that cards and candy are the way into someone’s heart, but because I feel that any opportunity to celebrate love is worthwhile. Does that mean I only celebrate my husband on the 14th of February? No, I don’t. Love is more than just a feeling, it is a way of life. There are some days when I don’t feel as loving towards my husband, but I know that it is an area that I can improve on every day and there are many ways I can honor and respect him that will show him how much I care.
One of our favorite things to do together is take pictures! I would like to have more photos taken of the two of us because I really think it’s so important! Having photographs that document how far we’ve come is so priceless!
