Orange County Wedding // Daniel + Adrie

Daniel and Adrie met while both singing in their church choir in Orange County in 2008.  Their friendship blossomed into a beautiful relationship and their approach to life was as two best friends, very much in love.  They tackled college together, moving away from her family to Sacramento and navigated growing up together.  With the help of each other, they have grown into the best versions of themselves.  They encourage each other to chase their dreams and they are comfortable with each other to laugh and be silly together.

It seemed fitting that they would get married in Orange County, where their life together started. It was a beautiful and warm Southern California day and excitement was every where.

They decided to share a first look before the ceremony at Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim and they even brought their little puppy, Capone.  The sky was beautiful and there was a hint of a rainbow even though it hadn’t rained at all.

The wedding took place at the beautiful French Estate in Orange, CA.  This wedding holds a special place in my heart, because the groom is my brother.  I was so honored to photograph their special day, and with help from a second shooter, was able to participate as a bridesmaid as well.

The reception took place in the same space as the ceremony but with a few modifications that took place during cocktail hour.  The bride’s brother performed a song on his ukulele and the bride and groom shared their first dance to Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran.  During the speeches and throughout the evening it was apparent that Daniel and Adrie were truly surrounded by people who love, cherish and honestly want the best for them.  

With a sparkling send off, I know that these newlyweds left their wedding day ready to take on whatever life comes their way. Together, as husband and wife!
