Tiffany and Matt met on a trip with mutual friends but it wasn’t until a few months later that they shared their first date. They hit it off with intellectual conversation and a similar sense of humor. They have been together for a few years now and love being outdoors together, cooking, and taking care of their 2 year old goldendoodle puppy, George.
Matt decided to surprise Tiffany, who is always very observant, by proposing at home. When she opened the door, George welcomed her with balloons and the ring and Matt came out from the back room with flowers and asked her to be his wife. Hoping she wouldn’t figure it out, Matt spent a lot of time planning out every detail of the proposal to make sure that it was going to be very special and meaningful. Tiffany was very surprised to be welcomed home in such a wonderful way and made Matt the happiest man in the world by saying yes!
For their engagement session, we headed out to the Sacramento Bar Area of the American River. They love to spend time together on the trails since it’s so close to their home. The weather had been a little cloudy and overcast, but the sun came out just in time for our session, creating the prettiest light. And since George is such a big part of their lives, he was happy to join us for the first part of the session!
Tiffany and Matt are both such kind and caring people and their love for each other is very apparent. They are truly each others best friend and you can see it in how playful and comfortable they are together!
Tiffany and Matt, thank you for having me take your engagement photos! You two are so sweet and fun and I am so excited to photograph your wedding next Fall at the Crocker Art Museum!
