Elli and Kevin were married at The Flower Farm Inn for their vintage inspired wedding. Elli looked like Elizabeth Bennett in her beautiful wedding dress that she had custom made for her from a dress maker she found on Etsy, and her hair was pinned up with little bits of baby breath. Elli and Kevin are some of the kindest people I have had the privilege of knowing and seeing so many of the people closest to them do everything to make their wedding day special was truly amazing! It is such a testament to how wonderful people actually are when you see others come together to give them a day that they will never forget!
Their ceremony was sweet and simple under the magesty of a beautiful big oak tree. Elli carried a bouquet that was hand crafted with love by her cousin of Branches and Vine Floral who drove the pastel colored flowers, berries, and greenery all the way from her home in Oregon. Kevin’s father officiated the ceremony which added a personal touch as he shared parts of their story and how they we so good together! As they pledged forever to each other in front of their family and friends, it was easy to see why!
The reception was inside the barn turned ballroom at the Flower Farm. The feeling of natural elegance carried into the decoration in the reception space with the centerpieces made from sliced tree trunks, with more of the soft colored florals, berries, and greenery that matched the bouquets and ivory candles. Everyone laughed during the toast which were heartwarming and sincere and then danced the night away. Instead of a guest book, Elli and Kevin had everyone sign personalized Jenga pieces which I thought was such a fun idea! Years from now, whenever they play that game, they will always remember those closest to them who cheered them on on their wedding day! Throughout the day, it was evident how perfect of a match Elli and Kevin are! Their family and friends confirmed it during toasts, stories shared, hugs given, and just how happy they all were to see them married. They are two peas in a pod, so it was fitting that Kevin carved an adorable set of peas for their cake topper! I love that not only did they have that visual representation of themselves on their wedding cake, but the fact that Kevin lovingly made it for Elli made it even more special!
Elli and Kevin, thank you for having me be a part of your best day ever! It was such an honor to capture your wedding day. You both are such genuine and sincere people and I am so excited for you both as you start your life together as husband and wife!
