5 years ago, I had of privilege of photographing the wedding of two of the nicest, sweetest people. They were surrounded by family and friends who love and support them. Being witness to someone’s wedding day and seeing a group of people come together because of the love of two is truly a remarkable thing. It is the same thing that makes you extremely excited when those same two people announce that they are having a baby!
Melissa wanted to take her maternity photos in a field with golden light from the setting sun glowing around her. Unfortunately, a dark cloud covered the sun right before our session but it didn’t matter because she was glowing from the inside as she embraces motherhood. It was so sweet the way Aaron looked at his wife as she carries their little girl. Kharis is such a lucky little girl to have two amazing parents who love her so much even before she is born.
I am so honored that I was able to document this time in their lives as they cherish every moment before they become a family of three. Aaron and Melissa, you two are going to make the world’s greatest parents! If Kharis grows up to learn even a fraction of love like you both share, she will be blessed all the days of her life!
