I’m sharing 3 tips to make the most of your wedding day and getting those picture perfect magazine quality wedding photos you’ve always wanted. As a Sacramento wedding photographer, I have seen it all and want to help you get that photos you’ll cherish forever!
1) Hire a wedding planner!
Having someone whose job it is to keep your day organized and on track will help keep things stress free and ensure that there is time for all the photos you want!! All those Pinterest photos you love? Those sweet candids? Pro tip: They were all planned for! A wedding planner plus a detailed timeline helps to make sure you have enough time planned for your day and photos as well! 2) Check the time of sunset on your wedding day!
If you are wanting those dreamy golden hour photos, then you have to plan around the time of the sun! Check sunrisesunset.com to help plan for the best time for your ceremony and portraits. About 2 hours before sunset is the best time for your ceremony. It will help make sure your guests are roasting in the sun and you’ll have even light. Be sure to ask your photographer for their advice!
3) Do a first look!
It will help keep you and your fiancé at peace by having a chance to see each other and calm any nerves before the ceremony. Plus it allows for more time in between your ceremony and reception to enjoy cocktail hour with your guests.
